Sooo I took some time and painted a texture for the link piece of the centipede. I realized I couldn't really go for the organic, plastic-ish texture probably because I suck at painting it. Let me know what you think about this more rocky texture, and let me know what to improve. Thanks!
I really like this, especially the color accent on the top one. Rocky rather than organic seems to fit into the inorganic setting of his arena too. I have no say in the matter, but I think it's cool.
